Show Rules 2022

1. Every participant can join with up to 6 fish

2. The registration fee is 5€ for each fish (IBC member) or 7,50€ (non IBC member)

3. We use the IBC standart

4. Participation is on your own risk (*1)

5. We can sell your fish at our show. You can bring additonal sale fish, we do all the work for you. You can sell for fix price or attend the auctions.

6. You are not allowed to sell fish yourself. If you want to do please go outside far away of the expo. We only allow sales over the show.

7. Benching is friday, if you come saturday we can not accept your fish for competition. Please bring or send it before.

8. Participation worldwide. If you can´t come yourself you can ship animals to us, this is possible until wednesday before the show.

9. Minimum size. Body size (without fins) female 3cm, male 3,5cm (Splendens)

10. Disqualification Reasons
- body size too small
- sick or injured fish
- transport water with colour - must be clear
- fin cutting / manipulation
- you touch your animals while judging procedure

(*1) Participation is at your own risk, if your fish is sick, stolen or something else, we are not liable for it. It is on your own risk if you want to attend or not. We do our best at the show but can´t promise. 

(*4) How can you bring your fish to us?
- bring/send it to Jan Sassmann or another breeder that attends
- send it to us with animal shipping until wednesday before the show
- let it/bring your fish to the show - friday is the last day
- asian breeders can send it with the import before to Jan Sassmann


Info Participation

You can bring your fish direct to the show friday (2022) from 10 o´clock on. We bench them direct and they can settle in. You can´t bring fish saturday, please organize that your fish arrive at us friday or ship /bring them to us until wednesday. You can also give them with another person that brings them on friday.

You can also let others bring your fish, you don´t need to be there physically yourself.

Attention: Please label each bag with waterproof pen with your registration number. You get this number after your registration and payment from us.

Info Shipping

You can ship animals to us wednesday before the show. Please ask for shipping adress after the registration mail.

The shipment must include:
1. Copy registration you get from us
2. Fish in bags, labeled waterproof with registration number
3. enough Heatpacks for all days

If you want your animals back (only europe):
3. Fish bags 2x each fish
4. Shipping handling fee 5€ each fish
5. Shipping adress
6. Postage

(*2) Shipping back postage cost depend on your destination and country. We tell you the shipping costs after the registration, you have to pay them in advance to us. If you do not pay the postage in advance and send fish to us we give away your fish for free after the show. You can also assign us to do this, it is no problem for us. Shipping in germany for example cost 17,50€ (2019 info) with licensed animal shipper only if you bring a styrofoam box, fish bags and heatpacks. If you have nothing you have to pay  25,80€ for shipping to a german adress.

It is also possible to sell the animals at the show. We keep 25% but always a 5€ minimum fee for each fish. If you want to sell your shipped fish please add a list with water proof numbers and price. Additional animals please put your own numbers on them like VK1, VK2, VK3. You get the money then short time after the show from us.

If postage or handling is not paid, we give your fish to other attendants for free. If you don´t want them back and they are not sold you can also give them away for free, please add the sentence "please give away for free if not sold" to your registration copy. There is no handling fee if you give them away for free. Thank you.

Info Charges

You can pay all fees online 2 weeks before the show, after that you can only pay cash at the show. No Exceptions.

If you do not pay postage / handling in advance or cash at the show thursday, we give away your fish to others for free on sunday after the show, please care in advance for your payment.

Sale is only possible at our show, it is not allowed to sell yourself. We do all the benching. Only our helpers do the packing and benching. You give us your animals in advance and can get not sold fish and money back at the end of the show monday. Please add a pricelist and label all fish with numbers. You don´t need to sell your show fish, it is just an option. We search for helpers, if you help us you get discount to the registration fee back and a discount to the sale fee. If you want to sell yourself please do it outside far away of the show terrain.

If you bring additional animals for sale, we restock your empty box after a sale with another animal until all are gone. 

You can get your animals back monday evening after the show, exceptions can be made if you travel a long distance, please ask when you bring your fish on friday in advance.

We ship back animals to you soon after the show.

If you attend personally and do not come back to get your animals, or if you did not pay postage / handling, we give away your animals for free direct after the show. 

If you don´t want them back you can also do a cross on the registration "please give away all animals for free after the show".
