Zur Teilnahme schickt uns eine Email an german-betta-contest@web.de mit folgenden Infos: Betreff: Anmeldung GBC 2023 DO - Name, Anschrift, Land, Telefon, Anzahl Fische (max 15). Die Meldegebühr pro Fisch beträgt 5€ für IBC Mitglieder (Nicht Mitglieder 2,50€ Aufpreis). Die Anmeldung ist bis 2 Wochen vor der Show offen.
Jeder kann teilnehmen der selbst gezüchtete Fische bringt oder zu uns schickt. Es sind Hochzucht Bettas und Alien erlaubt. Die Show verbindet Betta Begeisterte direkt vor Ort und ist eine super Möglichkeit gemeinsam Spass zu haben! Viele spannende Betta Gespräche während und nach der Show! Drei Tage Betta Spass.

The fee for each fish is 5€ for ibc members (non menbers +2,50€). The registration is open until 2 weeks before the show.
All participants are allowed with self bred fish that bring or send fish to us. If you come from Thailand or Indonesia contact Jan Sassmann for transhipping. You can register fancy bettas for our show. Join our show! we have a lot of fun together during and after the show. International breeders are at the show!

Parkplätze sind direkt vor der Halle vorhanden. Aussteller können direkt an der Halle entladen und ihr Fahrzeug danach wieder umparken. Rot = Ausstellerparkplätze, Grün = Besucher / Teilnehmer Parkplätze.
Parking Spots are direct at the expo area. Exhibitors can unload at the entrance and then park their car at the exhibitors parking lot. Green are the visitor parking spaces.
Der German Betta Contest ist Teil der Aqua Expo, die Eintrittspreise 2022: Tagesbesucher 10€ - pro Person - Kinder bis 12 Jahre frei. Karten vor Ort erhältlich.
The German Betta Contest is part of the Aqua Expo, the entrance fees 2022: 10€ each person - children up to 12 free entrance. Tickets are available at the entrance door, no online sale.

(2023) For visitors and participants there is a hotel near the expo where we all stay. Gemeinschaft und Unterkunft 2023
Wer ebenfalls im Holiday Inn übernachtet (oder in der Nähe) und nach der Show Langeweile hat, oder auch Interessierte können sich unseren gemeinsamen Dinner Abenden anschließen.
Der genaue Treffpunkt und Zeit wird in unserer Event Whatsapp Gruppe besprochen, die kurz vor dem Event geöffnet wird. Es kann jeder teilnehmen der Interesse hat.

Community & Hotel 2023
We stay in the Holiday Inn Hotel near the Expo. If you have free time and want to talk about bettas or also if you are just interested you can join our dinner evenings after the show.
Time and date will be anounced in our Event Whatsapp group, so stay in contact with us. If you want to join the group please send an email (german-betta-contest@web.de) to us with your mobile number

Show Regeln 2023
1. Pro Teilnehmer sind 15 Anmeldungen erlaubt
2. Die Anmeldegebühr beträgt 5€ pro Fisch (IBC) und 7,50€ (Nicht IBC)
3. Es wird nach dem IBC Standart gerichtet
4. Die Teilnahme erfolgt auf eigenes Risiko (*1)
5. Der Verkauf der Tiere auf unserer Show ist möglich (*3). Es können auch zusätzliche Verkaufstiere mitgebracht werden. Das Verkaufen und Umsetzen erfolgt durch uns. Verkäufe sind zum Fixpreis möglich oder die Show Gewinner Tiere können bei unseren Auktionen teilnehmen****.
6. Es ist kein eigener Verkauf von Tieren gestattet. (Rucksackverkäufe). Wenn ihr selbst mitgebrachte Fische übergeben möchtet ist das nur außerhalb des Messegeländes / Parkplatzes möglich. Verkäufe auf dem Messgelände und unserer Show sind nur über uns möglich.
7. Das Einsetzen der Tiere findet Donnerstag ab 10 Uhr statt. Freitag kein Einsetzen mehr.
8. Teilnehmer per Versand können bis Dienstag vor der Show Tiere senden. Oder nach Absprache mit Jan´s Kampffischshop oder Starbound Bettas oder anderen Züchtern die auch teilnehmen.
9. Mindestgröße Körperlänge (ohne Flossen) Weibchen 3cm, Männchen 3,5cm (Splendens Formenkreis). Mindestgröße Giant 5cm Weibchen, 6,3cm Männchen.
12. Disqualifikationsgründe:
- Mindestgröße unterschritten
- Kranke oder verletzte Tiere
- gefärbtes Transportwasser
- Flossenschneiden / Manipulation
- Zugriff auf die Tiere während der Bewertung

Die Teilnahme erfolgt auf eigenes Risiko, wir können nicht haftbar gemacht werden was mit euren Tieren passiert, z.B. bei Krankheit, Diebstahl, Verlust etc. Wir geben unser Bestes bei der Show können aber nichts garantieren. Nehmt nicht teil wenn ihr damit nicht einverstanden seid.

Info Teilnahme
Zur Show direkt können Fische am Donnerstag ab 10 Uhr gebracht werden. Freitag werden keine Fische entgegen genommen. Wer es Donnerstag nicht schafft bitte die Fische vorher zu uns bringen z.B: Mo-Di (auch per Versand) oder jemanden mitgeben der vor Freitag da ist.
Ihr könnt Fische auch Anderen mitgeben die vorher schon anwesend sind, eine persönliche Anwesenheit ist nicht nötig. Denkt an Heatpacks für mehrere Tage damit eure Fische nicht erfrieren.
Bitte beachten: Jedes Tier muss deutlich lesbar mit seiner Starternummer (wasserfest) beschriftet sein. Diese Nummer bekommt ihr von uns per Email nach erfolgreicher Registrierung und Bezahlung der Startgebühr.
Info Versand
Die Tiere können uns per Versand geschickt werden. Adresse erhaltet ihr nach der Registrierungsbestätigung.
Bitte beachten: Jedes Tier muss deutlich lesbar mit seiner Starternummer (wasserfest) beschriftet sein. Diese Nummer bekommt ihr von uns per Email nach erfolgreicher Registrierung und Bezahlung der Startgebühr.
Die Sendung an uns muss beinhalten:

3. Fische in Beutel mit Starternummer (wasserfest)
4. Ausreichend Heatpacks
Wenn die Tiere zurück geschickt werden sollen:

(*2) Das Rückporto hängt davon ab wo ihr wohnt, die Kosten dafür klären wir mit euch in der Anmeldung direkt. Wir übernehmen keine Haftung für den Rückversand, geben aber unser Bestes.
Info Verkauf
(*3) Es ist auch möglich die Show Tiere vor Ort zu verkaufen/versteigern, es fallen 25% Provision pro Fisch an, aber immer mindestens 5€. Sollen Fische veräußert werden bitte eine Liste beilegen mit Preisen für jede Startnummer. Zusätzliche Tiere ohne Nummer bitte selbst beschriften (wasserfest) z.B. mit eurer Starternummer und anhängen: VK1, VK2, VK3 usw. Der Erlös wird dann zeitnah an euch geschickt (Versand + Gebühr), oder ihr holt es Montag Abend direkt an der Kasse ab. Helfer bekommen Rabatt auf die Provision!
Ist kein Rückversand gewünscht oder bezahlt, reichen die ersten vier Punkte. Die Fische werden dann unter unseren Helfern verschenkt. Bitte auf der Anmeldung dann kurz notieren "Kein Rückversand, Fische bitte verschenken". Es fällt dann auch kein Handling an. Fische bei denen nichts markiert ist werden automatisch verschenkt. Keiner von uns übernimmt die Verantwortung wenn ihr die Liste nicht vollständig ausfüllt.
Info Gebühren
Online kann bis 2 Wochen vor der Show bezahlt werden, danach ist nur noch Barzahlung vor Ort möglich. Es gibt keine Ausnahmen.
Nicht bezahltes Porto / Handling führt automatisch dazu, dass wir die Tiere Montag Abend verschenken, kümmert euch bitte vorher um die Bezahlung.

Der Verkauf von Tieren findet nur über unsere Show statt, Rucksackverkäufe sind nicht gestattet. Übergebt Tiere die nicht an der Show teilnehmen / verkauft werden bitte außerhalb des Messegeländes.
Wenn ihr neben den Showteilnehmern zusätzliche Fische mitgebracht habt setzen wir diese in eure leeren Boxen nach bis alle verkauft sind. Oder jemand sagt euch das explizit mit neuer Nummer. Nummeriert bitte alle Tiere durchgängig und legt eine Preisliste bei. Der Erlös kann nach der Show an der Kasse abgeholt werden. Wenn ihr mithelfen möchtet registriert euch bitte als Helfer, danke! Wir suchen immer Helfer und brauchen euch. Umso mehr Helfer desto größer die Show. Wir können einige hundert mehr Fische ausstellen wenn ihr helft!
Teilnehmer dürfen ihre Tiere Sonntag ab 17 Uhr aus der Anlage entnehmen, Ausnahmen können gemacht werden bei langer Anreise, bitte vorab beim einsetzen bereits anfragen. Nachträgliche Diskussionen sind nicht erwünscht.
Der Rückversand der per Versand eingetroffenen Tiere erfolgt zeitnah. Wir sind ein kleines ehrenamtliches Team.
Kümmert euch bitte im Voraus um die Bezahlung des Porto. Die Bezahlung muss online bis 2 Wochen vor der Show erfolgen.

2. The registration fee is 5€ for each fish (IBC member) or 7,50€ (non IBC member)
3. We use the IBC standart
4. Participation is on your own risk (*1)
5. We can sell your fish at our show. You can bring additonal sale fish, we do all the work for you. You can sell for fix price or attend the auctions.
6. You are not allowed to sell fish yourself. If you want to do please go outside far away of the expo. We only allow sales over the show.
7. Benching is thursday, if you come friday we can not accept your fish for competition. Please bring or send it before.
8. Participation worldwide. If you can´t come yourself you can ship animals to us, this is possible until tuesday before the show.
9. Minimum size. Body size (without fins) female 3cm, male 3,5cm (Splendens). Giant female 5cm, Giant male 6,3cm
10. Disqualification Reasons
- body size too small
- sick or injured fish
- transport water with colour - must be clear
- fin cutting / manipulation
- you touch your animals while judging procedure
(*1) Participation is at your own risk, if your fish is sick, stolen or something else, we are not liable for it. It is on your own risk if you want to attend or not. We do our best at the show but can´t promise.
(*4) How can you bring your fish to us?
- bring/send it to Jan Sassmann / Jan´s Kampffischshop, Starbound Bettas or another breeder that attends
- send it to us with animal shipping until tuesday before the show
- let it/bring your fish to the show - thursday is the last day
- asian breeders can send it with the import before to Jan Sassmann
Info Participation
You can bring your fish direct to the show thursday (2023) from 10 o´clock on. We bench them direct and they can settle in. You can´t bring fish friday, please organize that your fish arrive at us thursday or ship /bring them to us until tuesday. You can also give them with another person that brings them on thursday.
You can also let others bring your fish, you don´t need to be there physically yourself.
Attention: Please label each bag with waterproof pen with your registration number. You get this number after your registration and payment from us.
Info Shipping
You can ship animals to us tuesday before the show. Please ask for shipping adress after the registration mail.

2. Fish in bags, labeled waterproof with registration number
3. enough Heatpacks for all days
If you want your animals back (europe only):

(*2) Shipping back postage cost depend on your destination and country. We tell you the shipping costs after the registration, you have to pay them in advance to us. If you do not pay the postage in advance and send fish to us we give away your fish for free after the show. You can also assign us to do this, it is no problem for us. Shipping in germany for example cost 25,90€ with licensed animal shipper.
It is also possible to sell the animals at the show. We keep 25% but always a 5€ minimum fee for each fish. If you want to sell your shipped fish please add a water proof list with number of the fish and price. Additional animals please put your own numbers on them like VK1, VK2, VK3. You get the money then short time after the show from us.
If postage or handling is not paid, we give your fish to other attendants for free. If you don´t want them back and they are not sold you can also give them away for free, please add the sentence "please give away for free if not sold" to your registration copy. There is no handling fee if you give them away for free. Thank you.
Info Charges
You can pay all fees online 2 weeks before the show, after that you can only pay cash at the show. No Exceptions.
If you do not pay postage / handling in advance or cash at the show thursday, we give away your fish to others for free on sunday after the show, please care in advance for your payment.

Sale is only possible at our show, it is not allowed to sell yourself. We do all the benching. Only our helpers do the packing and benching. You give us your animals in advance and can get not sold fish and money back at the end of the show sunday. Please add a pricelist and label all fish with numbers. You don´t need to sell your show fish, it is just an option. We search for helpers, if you help us you get discount to the registration fee back and a discount to the sale fee. If you want to sell yourself please do it outside far away of the show terrain.
If you bring additional animals for sale, we restock your empty box after a sale with another animal until all are gone.
You can get your animals back sunday evening after the show, exceptions can be made if you travel a long distance, please ask when you bring your fish on thursday in advance.
We ship back animals to you soon after the show.
If you attend personally and do not come back to get your animals, or if you did not pay postage / handling, we give away your animals for free direct after the show.
If you don´t want them back you can also do a cross on the registration "please give away all animals for free after the show".
Asian / International Participants 2023
All people international that send fish to us but not attend personal and no way to send the fish back to you. Like Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, England, Switzerland
1. You can join with up to 8 fish
2. The registration fee is 5€ for each fish for IBC members and 7,50€ for non-IBC members
3. We use the IBC Betta standard
4. Participation is on your own risk (*1)
5. You can sell your fish at our show. You can also send / bring additonal sale fish, we do all the work for you. You can sell for fix price or attend the auctions.

We care for your fish during the show. Please add a pricelist if you want to sell your fish after the show. We can not ship them back to your country. If we can sell them succesful we send the sale money back via paypal to you. Fish we can not sell are given away for free to helpers of the show after sunday evening when the show ends. If you send fish you are ok with this terms.

Payment for the registration fee is needed in advance, you have 2 weeks after the payment link to pay your fee or we cancel the registration and give it to the next person.
